Anglepoise Lamps and Chandeliers

The Anglepoise brand of lamps was founded in 1932 when George Carwardine invented a spring with a crank and lever that could be used to easily position a lamp without changing its position. When it launched its first lamp, p, the Original 1227, Anglepoise became world famous and began to be included in the furnishing plans for homes, offices, hotels and restaurants.

The original table lamp was redesigned several times through the years to adapt it to current needs, but without changing authentic design based on balance. Since the 1930s, the lamp has been used to outfit domestic atmospheres and over the decades many other versions have been produced, such as Model 75, Type 3, Original 1227 Mini, Type C and Type 80.
